How to Place Your Direct Mail Order:

You will either use our site to create your mailing list or upload your own list. To start your order, just complete the selections to the right.

Note that the  icon above each of the Options explains what the Option is and if you need to concern yourself with it.

After you complete the Options to the right, you will select, upload, create online or have one of our designers develop the art files for your mailing. If you are designing your own postcard, be sure to print off a copy of the Print Template from the Templates directory (above) before you start your design.

You will then either create or upload your mailing list--and then check out. It's easy!

Postage Note:

The list type that you select has in impact on the postage rates for which your mailing will qualify. Read the postage options below and select the postage rate that fits your mailing list and critical needs:

  • Standard Automation Rates: select this rate if you are buying a Consumer list, a New Mover list, a Business list or we are mailing your own internal list. This will garner the best rates for these types of lists and is the default rate selected to the right of your screen.
  • Standard Saturation Rates: use this only if you purchase a Resident list. This list will allow you to mail at the lowest rates allowed outside of Non-Profit Rates. Note that you cannot segment your list by household/individual level demographics. So if your product only needs geographic segmentation--along with a few basic carrier route level filters--choose Resident list and Standard Saturation postage rates.
  • First Class: this is the most expensive but will arrive the fastest. Typically, First Class is only chosen for invoicing or other critical communication with your clients, prospects or other important contacts.

Select the length of time that you would like the number to be active. $29.99 per number for each three month period. Terms of Use: $29.99 (3 months includes 50 min/month) Additional minutes billed separately at $.059/minute. By selecting this option, you agree to have additional minutes automatically billed to you.

Remove current customers, Do Not Mail Requests or specific geographies or segments. Email customerservice@lorexinc.com with your suppression files in an excel or other list format along with instructions. Enter your Job Number (provided at check out) into the subject line of your email.

Move Update/NCOA is required if you are mailing your own in-house list. If you have processed your list with any Move Update product in the last 60 days, please email a copy of your NCOA certificate to customer service. Enter your Job Number (provided at check out) into the subject line of your email.

If you are mailing your own list and do not have an NCOA/Move Update Certificate, select Process NCOA/Move Update from the drop dow menu.

Seeds are additional addresses that you want to add to your mailing for tracking purposes. you may add up to 5 seeds without incurring additional charges.

If you choose Include My Seed List, email your seed list in an excel or other list format to customerservice@lorexinc.com. Enter your Job Number (provided at check out) into the subject line of your email.

If you wish to have an Alternate Recipient (e.g., Bob Smith or Current Resident), select from the popular choices in the drop down--or email customerservice@lorexinc.com with your preferred text. Referance your Job Number in the subject line of your email.

If you do not want to mail to named individuals, you can use a Slug Line or Generic Recipient  title (e.g., Resident) for your mailing. Select from the popular choices in the drop down--or email customerservice@lorexinc.com with your preferred text. Referance your Job Number in the subject line of your email.

If you wish to have your mailing list split into several smaller mailings, select the number of mail drops from the drop down menu (e.g., your list is 9,000 records but you wish to break it up into 6 drops of 1,500 records each).

NOTE: if you select more than one mail drop, each mailing must be a minimum of 250 records if Standard Class and 500 records if First Class Mail.

If you wish to mail the entire list multiple times, check out your order WITHOUT selecting this option. Email customerservice@lorexinc.com with your request. Customer Service will contact you with the least expensive option for doing this.
